In fact, the “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho” cover was created by non-other than the famed cartoonist, painter, and author, Ralph Steadman. Travis Scott even featured him multiple times on his Instagram, capturing Steadman at work. | 3:11 |
A5 | Huncho Jack The 81 year-old, Welsh artist is most known for his illustrations on the book and movie poster artwork of “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas“. With the early work of the late author, Harry S. Thompson, he and Steadman revolutionized “Gonzo“- a type of journalism where the reporter is set to be part of the story. Steadman’s work is easily recognizable by its often experimental and drug induced-style. And, with a 40-year track record, nothing seems to be stopping the artist from creating and further perfecting his craft. | 3:19 |

B1 | Dubai Shit Check out more of Ralph Steadman’s workhere. By Tristin Marshall. Ralph Steadman, most well known in the U.S. as the illustrator for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, is the mind behind the ‘Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho’ album cover. The inspiration behind the artwork blends Steadman’s original Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas design of mountains and cacti from the 1972 novel, as well as his take on a photo of Quavo and Travis Scott from the “Go Off” video, a single from the Fate of the Furious soundtrack featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The legendary artist told MTV News that he wasn’t familiar with Quavo and Scott prior to being commissioned by Scott’s team to design the artwork, but it proved to work in the design. | 3:48 |

B6 | Best Man “Though I had never heard of them I did not consider that important, it was for me unknown territory, and I went along with it out of curiosity as much as anything.” Though working blindly in a sense, Steadman was still able to deliver a product that the duo was ultimately happy with: “I found it an area of expression that I could follow and understand and give a point of view. I think I succeeded because they were very happy.”. The artwork, which Quavo and Scott teased just before the album dropped, was praised by Scott in an Instagram post: “My Man Ralph Steadman thank u. I Love u man thanks for being part of this ride. Them studio nights let’s not mention those lol.”. Quavo and Scott released their much-anticipated collaboration just before Christmas, and the album debuted at #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts just days into 2018. | 4:26 |
